  At berkeley, a lot of teachers just hand out worksheets and do not teach. Some of the teachers act like they don't care about the students and never help us. Some teachers lecture us every day. Some send kids out of the room just because they don't want to look at them. Lots of the rooms are never clean. The bathrooms are always extremely dirty and horrible. The school is overcrowded and lack when it comes to resources. Teachers even agree. Berkeley scored the lowest on a climate survey for the teachers and staff in the whole district. I am in eighth grade. My experience at Berkeley has not been a good one. The students just don't care in the classes(only some) and in science of all three years has been extremely boring because of these kids, except for my 7th grade year science, which was good. Teachers complain about problems with the administration, very personal ones, which is unprofessional and inappropriate. One teacher, after I wrote a bad review, came up to me and told me to take it down and to watch what I say online. It was what I thought of berkeley and he cannot make me take it down. It wasn't inappropriate. I have freedom of speech. That goes to show how some of the teachers are at this school. Now, the visions program has been overcrowded, but generally okay teachers. But the school needs more resources and needs to change so more students start caring. If a lot of the teachers don't care about the kids, that's not going to happen. I have even had a teacher be mean to a mentally handicapped student, which is unacceptable. I've only had a few great teachers here and some of them are unprofessional and inappropriate.
